How to Join!

  • Newsletter

Our monthly club newsletter is available to all members either electronically or via regular mail. Complimentary issues are available for new contacts.

  • Yahoo Website

The HVMOM message board is a great way to share information quickly with others in the group: physician referrals, equipment for sale, twin discounts, local portrait studios, etc. Electronic copies of current and previous newsletters are also available.

 

  • Programs

Certain months have an informational program scheduled. Popular topics in the past have included: CPR/first aid training, saving for college, promoting self-esteem in children, managing sibling rivalry, Mom-to-Mom support and pediatric dentistry.

  • Support Line

Peer counselors are available to offer moral support and non-medical guidance. Frequent phone calls are made to new contacts to ensure that their needs are being met. The Support Line also coordinates meal deliveries to new parents and maintains resource materials. Emphasis is placed on expectant and new moms.

  • Clothing, Toy and Equipment Exchanges

These sales are held bi-annually with rules for selling and buying published in the newsletter. On sale are reasonably priced clothing, toys, and equipment previously owned by club members.

  • Playgroups

A playgroup coordinator is available to assist in introducing parents of similar aged children. A membership directory is also available for this purpose.

 

  • Board Meetings

Meetings are held monthly and open to all members.

  • Name Badge

A uniquely designed name badge is included in your paid membership. Order badge through membership chairperson after the birth of your multiples.

How to Join! (otherwise know as Membership Dues)

Dues are $20.00 per year to receive an electronic copy of the newsletter, or $27.00 to receive the newsletter via US Mail, beginning in August of the current year through July of the following year. New members may join mid-year (after February 1st) for $10.00 (Electronic Newsletter) or $13.50 (US Mail Newsletter).
